The Biñan, City

The city of Biñan is known as the trading center area immediately south of metro manila. They are known for being the largest marketplace in Laguna. Biñan was discovered and founded by Captain Juan de Salcedo in June 1571, a month after Miguel Lopez de Legazpi established Manila when he explored the largest freshwater lake in the Philippines and second in Asia (Laguna de Bay). Biñan was known for its best delicacies and historical attractions that people make come back. They are known for having their traditional "Puto Biñan" which is unique for its sweet and cheesy taste. The famous "Alberto Mansion" is one of the popular attractions that people love to visit and go to, and recently restored after a typhoon.
